To insure beautiful color results for guests at The Jennifer Lowe Salon, I continue my education above and beyond state standards by earning 20 hours of additional training MONTHLY. I love what I do and want you to feel comfortable knowing I do the work to insure great results.
SPECIALIZING IN:
Balayage- The word “balayage” is a French word meaning “to sweep” or “to paint.” It is a technique for hair color in which the dye is hand painted onto the hair to give it a natural, gradual transition with no obvious or harsh lines. Balayage uses various tones of light and dark to create multiple dimensions of color, leaving the hair with a blended, natural, sun-kissed glow. The most appealing thing about balayage is that the color can be customized completely to your hair color and hair type. By strategically freehand painting the hair, you can highlight your features in this custom color technique.
Platinum Blonde - These are your icy white, sterling silver and clear blondes. It is a multi-step process and is high maintenance (5-6 weeks).
Color Corrections - Multiple step process to improve banding color, blotching, or any other irregularities to color.
Extensions - Add length or thickness and color to your hair.
Specialty Hair - Wedding parties and special events.

To better serve my guests, the following wet lines are available at the salon. Recommendations will be given at every appointment after strand and snap test to make sure your hair is getting EXACTLY what is needed.

Co-wash instructions
- Wet hair thoroughly.
- Add copious amounts of CONDITIONER to the scalp, working it into the scalp and around the head.
- Let the conditioner sit on the scalp for a few minutes before rinsing using water pressure to move the conditioner thoroughly down the hair.
- If the scalp feels rubbery, repeat the process.

You got the blonde you wanted, now let's keep it! Let's wait a minimum of 2 days before any water touches your hair, the longer you can wait the better. Best practice would be 5-6 days.
- Co-wash your hair for the first two wash cycles then every other wash cycle thereafter. Use cool water to shampoo or tepid water to co-wash for best results.
- Squeeze dry hair with a microfiber towel instead of roughing it dry with a towel.
- Use a satin sleeping cap or satin pillow case to prevent "bed head" and the need to restyle.
- Dry shampoo is recommended between wash cycles for added volume.
- Heat on all hot tool irons needs to be 250 and lower with the use of a heat protectant spray rated at 450°. Heatless waves are highly recommended.
